Codification
The BAULÉ range includes many polyurethane systems.
Whishing to be accurate as well as clear, they have been gathered under different headings, according to the chemical nature of their constituents: isocyanate and polyol. They have also been coded following the rules detailed hereunder.

PREPOLYMERS   Alphanumerical code for each range • First letter = nature of the diisocyanate   T = TDI   M = MDI • Second letter = nature of the basic polyol   T = Polyether (PTMEG)   G = Polyether   D = Polyester (Polyadipate)   L = Polyester (Polycaprolactone) • Third letter (optional) = according to processing method or type of technology   Q = Quasi prepolymer   S = One shot   R = Ribbon Coating   P = Sprayable systems   F = Cold-curing • Three to five numbers, according to:   the group (one or two first numbers)   the indicative percentage of NCO multiplied by 10 (two or three last figures)

CHAIN EXTENDERS   Chain extenders can be: • Current products on the market   ex: MBOCA (4.4' - methylene-bis (2-chloroaniline)         BDO (1.4 butanediol) • Blends of alcohols or amines or polyamines   ex: JT 5461, RT 8124, ...   Examples
